Alan Cliff is a retired Methodist Minister who lives in North Wales. He writes regular columns in British Railway Modelling and many small press magazines.

Author of "The Grand Rescue", a guide to Christianity in 5000 words and creator of Jack the Station Cat, who has a cuddly toy named after him and many honorary titles and awards.

Grabbit and Skoot are Jack's country cousins.
